Centre of Biofuels & Bio Processing Research

Biofuels and Bioprocessing Research Centre (BBRC) at Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University is designed to provide reliable, science-based information to support planning and decision-making emerging biofuels and bioprocessing industries in India. The Centre aims at developing economically and ecologically viable technologies to produce biofuels, facilitate information exchange, and foster collaboration among stakeholders at all levels and educational opportunities for professionals.​

The Centre has started collaborating with different Universities/Institutes across the world. Currently, the Centre has collaborated with Prof.(Dr) Pattanathu K.S.M. Rahman of Teesside University, Middlesbrough–TS13BA, the UK for research, student exchange, and faculty visiting programs. Also, it has signed MoU with Hydromet Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Gujarat, India for faculty/Scientist exchange program, joint collaboration in organizing symposia, colloquium, workshops, seminars, and conferences, and joint research projects by both Institutions.
