The Centre of Biotechnology offers programmes that are designed to generate competent human resources with comprehensive expertise in the broad fields of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. The Centre aims to address individual, institutional and societal needs by dissemination of knowledge in the aforementioned areas and through engagement in active research.

Centre has well equipped dedicated research laboratories for Bioprospecting research, Biomics and Biodiversity, Molecular Biology & Genetic engineering, Cell culture, Plant Biotechnology, Neurobiology and Bioengineering research.

Centre of Biotechnology is a catalyst for advancing bioengineering and biotechnology research and innovation through industry collaborations and partnerships.
