3 to 6 months Dissertation/Project works on Industrial Biotechnology Research for PG (Bio-Tech.) and allied subjects.

Objectives
To provide a bench mark platform for comprehensive training module on Industrial Biotechnology Research to nurture the participants with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to excel in the dynamic field of biotechnology.
To encompasses a broad spectrum of disciplines, addressing pivotal domains such as enzyme technology, fermentation processes, metabolic engineering, green synthesis of bio-inspired nanoparticles, sustainable bio-energy generation, and eco-friendly Bio-fertilizer.
To furnish participants with a thorough and integrated understanding of cutting-edge biotechnological prospects in the industrial sector, thereby fostering a nuanced appreciation for the intricate dynamics within the field of industrial biotechnology.
To inculcate transformative learning skill among the participants in industrial biotechnology, employing interactive lectures, hands-on labs, and case studies led by industry experts to nurture skills for impactful contributions.

Enzyme production, characterization, optimization and diversified application in bio fuel production, bio-pharmaceuticals, industrial product development.
Green synthesis of Bio-inspired Nanoparticles, characterization, and bio-activity applications.
G1, G2, and G3 grade bio-fuel production, pretreatment, enzyme hydrolysis, distillation, and modellings.
Bio-fertilizer isolation, characterization and mass production and field evaluation
Phytochemical extraction, fractionation and isolation of leads and evaluation of the various bio-activities.
Insilico molecular modelling consisting the docking and molecular dynamics study for diversified applications including affinity and thermodynamic stability in the physiological mimetic environment of the ligand-receptor complex, predication of enzyme catalytical reactions.
Synthesis of nanocomposite and hybrid materials for the wide range of applications.
Adroit in various tools and techniques involved in gene cloning and expression
Instruments such as Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, High-Performance Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry, Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry, Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy, Transmission Electron Microscopy, X-ray Diffraction, including the calibration and maintenance procedures essential for ensuring accurate and reliable data acquisition.
Developing and utilizing various bioinformatics tools, including but not limited to AutoDock Vina, Discovery Studio, GROMACS, and MGL Tools.
Methodologies encompassing extraction, isolation techniques, and chemical profiling of cellulose, lignin, and hemicellulose are systematically employed for the purpose of advancing the development of value-added products.
Facilities available
All essential and advanced equipment resources are accessible within the Genomics, Proteomics, and Fermentation laboratories at the Center for Industrial Biotechnology Research (CIBR), SOA.
Hostel accommodation and transportation services are available on a payment and availability basis.
The center boasts distinguished scientific panels comprising Professors, Assistant Professors, Postdoctoral Fellows, and skilled laboratory personnel, offering guidance to students in their project and dissertation work, ultimately contributing to successful publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Eligibility
Graduate and post graduate (M.Sc.) candidates from life sciences, pharmacy, biotechnology, B.Tech. Biotech, Biomedical, Textile, medical sciences, agriculture, veterinary, and computer science are eligible to enroll.

Please note that the selection of the candidates will be exclusively on the basis of performance in the written examination and / or personal interview.
Fee Structure
The fee for the 3-month training program is set at 20,000/-, providing participants access to a comprehensive curriculum, interactive sessions, and practical training in industrial biotechnology research.
For an 6-month training program, the fee is 35,000/-. This extended duration allows participants to delve deeper into the subject matter, gaining additional hands-on experience and expertise in advanced biotechnological techniques.
The fees cover all program-related materials, access to laboratory facilities, and expert-led sessions, ensuring a robust and enriching learning experience throughout the training period.
Training Program Tenure
The training program spans an initial period of three months, for completion of the workshop/project work/dissertation/ hand on training program. Following this initial phase, participants have the option to extend their involvement for an additional three months, allowing for a more in-depth exploration and application of acquired skills. The flexibility of a potential six-month duration ensures participants can deepen their understanding and contribute significantly to the program's objectives.
